Shrimp in Lemon Butter Sauce

The sweetness of shrimp is balanced with a tangy lemon butter sauce. Cooking this delicious shrimp in lemon butter sauce goes by quickly, in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs Shrimp
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Lemon
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley leaves

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, heat up the 1/4 cup of butter on medium heat. Once butter is melted, add in the chopped garlic. Let it cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the red pepper before adding in the shrimp. Sprinkle salt into the pan. Stir
  • Cook until shrimp is mostly pink. This should take about 4-6 minutes. Stir if necessary to get shrimp cooking evenly.
  • Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and then stir. Cook for another minute until shrimp is fully cooked.
  • Transfer shrimp into a plate and sprinkle on the parsley leaves. Serve with the other half of the lemon.
